This course of 40 online lessons is designed especially for seniors and offers a friendly introduction to the language of smartphones. It focuses on leading applications and teaches basic features which can greatly contribute to keep seniors connected to their family, friends and community while making smartphones a friendly and efficient device rather than an obstacle and source of apprehension.
Our Approach
Our pedagogic approach consists in teaching one step at a time, focusing during each lesson on a very specific feature while encouraging practice through homework to insure deep acquisition and gain small victories. We believe in “scalable intimacy” and while thriving to utilize technology to generate a positive impact on as many seniors as possible, we manage to sustain a direct contact with our students by organizing weekly online-meetings during which we can interact with them in order to keep a human dimension to the course.
Audience
This course is destined to people who use the most basic features of their smartphone on a daily basis and would like to acquire more proficiency in order to communicate more easily with their environment, and especially with younger generations.
We will walk our students through the basic functionalities of their smartphone, reveal them the world of icons and emoticons, update them about the most common apps people use today, teach them how to use their camera, and uncover the mysteries of zoom and the secrets of WhatsApp.

We are three Jerusalem-based entrepreneurs. For more than three years, we’ve been teaching hundreds of seniors how to use technology. We’ve built an annual curriculum that has been tested and proved in senior-focused community centers and service institutions. The team includes expertise in business development, education strategies, community management, and start-up technology companies.
